Julia Lange

The 20-year-old guitar virtuoso Julia Lange from Babenhausen/Langstadt can look back on numerous prizes at national and international competitions. Having received early training in classical music, she now particularly enjoys fingerstyle on the steel-string guitar. Her unique acoustic guitar arrangements, combining modern percussive fingerstyle elements with classical techniques, have inspired millions of viewers on YouTube. Concert invitations have already taken her to Poland, France, Spain and Hong Kong. Noteworthy is her invitation by Deutsche Grammophon to accompany soprano Nadine Sierra at live performances in Berlin.

The young crossover artist is also receiving increasing attention on television. A portrait of her appeared on the regional channel MainTV as early as 2015. She was invited by MDR to present a guitar made with thermo wood, and she showcased her versatility on ARTE’s “Stars of Tomorrow”, where she accompanied tenor Rolando Villazón. She also appeared in Hong Kong on “The Works” on RTHK, and in late 2018 Sat.1 and Hessenschau reported on her work.

Since September 2017 Julia has been studying acoustic guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden.

Performing at Siccas Guitars

Every classical guitarist who performs at Siccas Guitars brings a distinct musical path to the instrument — shaped by years of study, competition experience, and the particular musical tradition they have chosen to inhabit. The classical guitar demands sustained technical commitment and a deep engagement with a repertoire that spans from the Renaissance through to works written for living performers. It is an instrument whose full possibilities only reveal themselves over time.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
