The Journey of a Guitar: From Workshop to Our Showroom
At Siccas Guitars, every instrument has a story, and the arrival of Donatella Salvato's No. 57 "Gran Concerto Hommage à D. Friederich" is one we hold especially close to our hearts.
Crafted with care in her workshop in Italy, this remarkable guitar reflects Donatella's dedication to tradition and her exceptional attention to detail. Throughout the process, she kept us updated with photos and insights, allowing us to witness its creation step by step—a rare and special privilege.
This 2025 model features a cedar top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, finished in a stunning French polish. With its 640 mm scale and 50.5 mm nut width, it offers a comfortable playing experience, making it ideal for musicians seeking a more ergonomic feel. Its warm and sweet tone is a testament to Donatella's craftsmanship and the inspiration she draws from legends like Daniel Friederich.
But what makes this guitar even more meaningful is the name Donatella lovingly gave it: "Little Manuela". This name is a tribute to our colleague, Manuel Luchena, who first recognized her talent and ordered one of her guitars for our shop.
We're thrilled to showcase this masterpiece, not only for its exquisite sound and playability but also for the heartfelt connection it represents.
Stay tuned—No. 57 "Gran Concerto" will soon be available in our shop, and we can't wait for you to experience its magic firsthand!
