About the Guitar Maker

Vincent Engelbrecht is a respected guitar maker based in Forcalquier in the Provence region of France. His career began in 1997 at the age of seventeen, when he started a three-year apprenticeship with the renowned luthier Christopher Schuetz. Following his training, Vincent expanded his understanding of sound and acoustics through six years of work as a sound engineer and acoustician.

In 2006, he dedicated himself entirely to guitar making and applied his extensive acoustic expertise to develop his own bracing system. This innovative concept features a star-shaped spruce lattice woven into a spruce and balsa soundboard, significantly enhancing both the depth of tone and the responsiveness of the instrument.
