Overview

Adrian Heinzelmann belongs to the most aspiring luthiers in Germany. He constructs not only classical guitars, but also various types of steelstring guitars. This model of a concert guitar, which is inspired by Francisco Simplicio, secured Heinzelmann the first place in the contest of lutherie in Luby/CZ in June 2012. Many of Adrian’s own ideas are included in this model, like for example the bridge consisting of a three-piece bone inlay. The top is made of fine-grained cedar with an embedded and magnificently decorated rosette. The purflings of the guitar’s top are fine mosaics. Back and ribs are made of East Indian rosewood. The fingerboard is raised above the top. Neck and head are made of cedro. The guitar is refined with shellac polish.
