Adrian Heinzelmann – 2020

Adrian Heinzelmann – 2020

Overview

Adrian Heinzelmann is one of the most talented German luthiers of his generation. His guitars are of great finesse with an aesthetic that combines the Spanish tradition and the modernity for which German luthiers are universally recognized. His guitars are played by many brilliant teachers, soloists, and students, and have already proven themselves in major European concert halls.

His craftsmanship and the way Adrian Heinzelmann designs his soundboards are unique. Many narrow parallel trenches are carved inside of the cedar soundboard to optimize its weight and flexibility. This technique, combined with lightweight lattice bracing, gives an instrument of great sensitivity and impressive volume. Playing Adrian Heinzelmann’s guitar gives a feeling of confidence and pushes the guitarist to go beyond his limits.

This classy-looking guitar with a modern twist offers all the features that characterize a first-class classical guitar. Including an overall well-balanced sound in polyphonic music, a top-notch separation of voices, and a long sustain. On top of that, it offers a remarkable voice that is both sweet and bold at the same time. The pleasantly round neck, raised fingerboard, and responsive soundboard create a great playing feel and bring out the best that a classical guitarist expects from a master guitar.

Adrian’s guitar is very a versatile concert instrument of the highest grade. Every aspect of this guitar is simply impressive, both tonally and aesthetically. Great care was taken in the selection of the spruce top, as well as the choice of stunning Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Its craftsmanship perfectly reflects the luthier’s outstanding skills as a craftsman. This guitar has an excellent price-performance ratio and will also meet the needs of guitarists of any level. As a pre-loved instrument, it is in excellent condition with only superficial playing wear. Furthermore, this Heinzelmann offers excellent playability due to its great neck shape. As a result, it is a very comfortable instrument for a long practice session or concert program.

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
