Overview

Andreas Kirschner is one of the best and most sought-after German luthiers of double-top guitars. His philosophy as a guitar-maker is focused on the sound quality and on optimizing the tone of the classical guitar. He is therefore closely working with professional guitarists since many years in order to build an instrument that fulfils the artists’ expectations. His guitars are built with a high level of workmanship and rank among the finest double-top instruments.
This 2019 spruce double-top guitar came directly from A. Kirschner’s workshop. It is astonishing how little effort one needs to put into the right hand when playing this guitar, in order to produce a room-filling tone. The player has the feeling to be surrounded by the sound of this instrument. It also has a nice and consistent sustain over the registers, making this guitar a very balanced instrument. The richness of sound-colours is very impressive and minimal right-hand motion open whole new sound-possibilities. The high-quality Scheller tuners fit perfectly to this guitar and round off the overall picture of this outstanding instrument very nicely.
