More details about the guitar

At HANIKA, craftsmanship is understood as custom work and sound as art. A guitar from the famous Baiersdorf manufacture is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship tradition. Since 1953, it has been the basis for the success story of the company, combined with trend-setting innovations. Master plucked instrument maker Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993 and has been building classical guitars of outstanding quality ever since. The CutPro PC is a modern cutaway classical guitar developed from the popular Model 56, offering enhanced playability and effortless access to higher positions. Thanks to its elegant Florentine cutaway and slightly reduced body depth, it provides exceptional comfort when playing in the upper register. Crafted with back and sides made of solid Indian rosewood and a high-quality cedar soundboard, this guitar delivers a quick response and a full, rounded tone. The tonewood combination produces a warm sound with clear projection, making it ideal for both solo performance and ensemble work. The visual appeal of this model is further enhanced by its high-gloss finish on the back and sides, and a silk-matt finish on the cedar top. Refined details such as the rosewood-maple-rosewood head plate, curved Indian rosewood bridge, and the beautifully structured woods make this guitar stand out aesthetically. Built using premium solid tonewoods, the CutPro PC features a flat top with asymmetrical fivefold fan bracing, offering stability and dynamic tonal range. High-end components such as the gold-coloured Rubner R2 tuning machines with engraved plates, a neck made of cedro reinforced with hardwood, and an African blackwood fretboard highlight the guitar’s superior craftsmanship. The UV-cured acrylic high-gloss body finish and closed-pore matt top ensure long-term durability with a refined look and feel.
