Overview
Overview
This beautiful guitar built in Vienna around 1834 by Bernard Enzensperger is a fantastic instrument. It is in great condition and was restored by E. P. Hofmann. It is also shown in the book “Stauffer & Co” by Erik Pierre Hofmann, Pacal Mougin and Stefan Hackl on page 182/183. The top had six small perfectly repaired cracks and back and sides are in beautiful shape, free of cracks. Furthermore, the tuning pegs were replaced by very convenient Pegheds™. This guitar is perfectly playable and sounds gorgeous.
The rich and dynamic sound coming out of this small-sized instrument is just remarkable. The left-hand comfort is striking and playing the romantic repertoire on this instrument is dreamlike. Volume, clarity, precision of the notes, balance, this guitar really has it all.
