Dieter Müller - 2015 Doubletop

Dieter Müller - 2015 Doubletop

Overview

Dieter Müller is a renowned German luthier who focuses on building double-top guitars. Since Matthias Dammann, German luthiers have been specialists in the field of double-top guitars. Dieter Müller's instruments are particularly sought after for their sound quality, sonority, and great sound volume. In addition, the craftsmanship is also executed at a very high level.

With this double-top guitar, Dieter Müller has truly outdone himself. This beautiful instrument was built using a first-class cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Its sound volume is impressive, as are its excellent playing attributes. Particularly striking is the exceptionally long sustain for such a lightweight double-top guitar. A property that gives the first string a lively presence and enables the guitarist to play virtuoso pieces and sustained, slow melodies with great expressivity. Due to its E/F main resonance, this beautiful guitar has incredibly deep and rich basses that provide a solid foundation for its overall voice.
Moreover, this pre-loved instrument shows almost no playing wear. It is in mint condition. On top of that, the craftsmanship of this instrument is excellent, making it very aesthetically pleasing as well.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
