Ennio Giovanetti has been building guitars since 1998 in his Sariano di Gropparello workshop near Piacenza (Italy). He studied guitar making in Milan with Enrico Bottelli, where he got to know many guitars by Antonio de Torres, Simplicio, Garcia, and many others. His guitars are built traditionally but are well recognizable by their own elements.
This instrument is another fantastic guitar by Ennio Giovanetti in all regards. Ennio's instruments have always shown a very high level of consistency. The guitars of Daniel Friederich in the 1980s heavily influence this fine guitar. The gorgeous caramel color cedar top has a seven-fan bracing system with a diagonal bar on the lower bout of the treble side. Furthermore, the back and sides of this guitar were made using carefully chosen Indian rosewood of the highest quality. Every little detail of this guitar was executed with utmost precision. It has an outstanding balance with solid trebles and deep dark basses. It accurately represents Daniel Friederich guitars, built with a great understanding of the originals of Daniel Friederich.
