Inspired by her love of music and creative craft activities, Friederike Linscheid completed her apprenticeship as a guitar maker at the instrument-making school in Mittenwald/Germany. Since then, she has been working as a luthier in Berlin. Guitar building combines her interests: music, art, design, and scientific work in equal measure. The precise handcrafting of carefully selected woods is of central importance to her for the sound and appearance of her guitars, just as the profound knowledge of the acoustic qualities.
Friederike Linscheid's guitar, numbered 51, emerges from her workshop as a traditionally constructed marvel, designed to deliver unparalleled musical expression.
