Friederike Linscheid - 2023 No. 59 64 cm

Overview

Inspired by her love of music and creative craft activities, Friederike Linscheid completed her apprenticeship as a guitar maker at the instrument-making school in Mittenwald/Germany. Since then, she has been working as a luthier in Berlin. Guitar building combines her interests: music, art, design, and scientific work in equal measure. The precise handcrafting of carefully selected woods is of central importance to her for the sound and appearance of her guitars, just as the profound knowledge of the acoustic qualities.
Introducing the Friederike Linscheid 2023 Nr. 59, a stunning work of craftsmanship from the renowned guitar maker. This guitar boasts a beautiful cedar soundboard that delivers a rich, warm, and full-bodied tone that will captivate you. The back and sides are made from the finest Madagascar rosewood, adding depth and character to the sound. Moreover, the 64 cm scale is a real treat for the left hand.
Inspired by the designs of master guitar makers such as Robert Bouchet and Dominique Field, this guitar is built with traditional techniques and features spruce bracing for added strength and stability. Double sides made of Madagascar rosewood and mahogany, along with regularly arranged braces on the sides, create a guitar with fantastic projection and a wide range of tonal colors that inspire any musician.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
