Overview
Overview
Being the son of a toy maker, Jake Fuller learnt how to work with wood in his father’s workshop. When he started to play the guitar at the age of 16, he soon became fascinated by the idea to combine his two interests in life: guitars and woodworking. After graduating from London Guildhall University where he studied Musical Instrument Technology he set up his own workshop. He especially concentrates on making lightly built Spanish/Torres style guitars.
This Model, guitar no. 95, is a classic beauty. The bright spruce top stands in pleasant contrast to the Indian rosewood back and sides and the dark finely worked decorations in binding and the pretty rosette. The gorgeously grained headstock completes this instrument’s precious overall impression. Being very lightly built, the guitar is very responsive and has a balanced and direct sound with warm basses and mids and clear trebles. The tuners are made by Rubner. All French polished. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
