José Marin Plazuelo - 2018 CF
Overview
Overview
José Marin Plazuelo was born in Granada in 1960. He is the nephew and student of Antonio Marin Montero. He began an apprenticeship with his uncle in 1974 and shortly after started to build guitars under his own name. His guitars are always very fine instruments, entirely French polished, with subtle black/white geometric mosaics. They are often played in great concert-halls all around the world by professional guitarists and have a typical warm Spanish sound
This guitar comes straight out of J. M. Plazuelo’s workshop. It has outstanding Ziricote back and sides and is very finely handcrafted. The first striking feature of this guitar is how brilliant and open the tones are. This guitar has a great volume, a very singing first E string and typical powerful Granadinian basses. A hard-shell case is included.
