Lakewood is a guitar manufacturer based in Gießen, Germany. Specialized on building high-quality acoustic guitars, Lakewood is one of the most successful German guitar companies, which produces entirely in Germany.
This A-50 auditorium from 2014 is a custom model. The top is made of spruce, the back and sides are made of beautifully flamed maple, which gives the guitar a fine and yet percussive sound. The transition between neck and body at the 12th fret allows for very tender playing, perfect for fingerstyle artists. Being strummed the pearly sounds form a marvelously bright soundscape. The open headstock gives the trebles a silvery note. The guitar is in excellent condition. An original Hiscox Case is included.
