Overview
Overview
Luigi Locatto has been building guitars for more than 30 years. Not only is he an excellent guitar maker but also a brilliant guitar player. During his career, he restored and examined a lot of important instruments from great masters such as Francisco Simplicio, Louis Panormo, Enrique Garcia, Antonio de Torres, etc. The influence of these mythic guitar makers can be strongly felt in the sound quality and the balanced aesthetic of his own guitars.
This instrument built by master luthier Luigi Locatto offers qualities that are exquisite both in sound and craftsmanship. Gorgeous details inspired by the Barcelona artisan Francisco Simplicio stand out in a sublime splendor when admiring the guitar's features. The basses sound firm with a deep, lush, Spanish timbre. Pair that with the sweet and most delightful singing trebles and you get a truly charming concert guitar. Looking at that stunning CITES certified Brazilian rosewood back and sides, one could spend minutes just drowning in the 3D effect portrayed in the wood grain. Also the playability is excellent, making this Italian guitar an absolute gem and inspiring to play on. there is a kind of classy and nostalgic reverence laying over the guitar so that one can say it sounds like a Simplicio, but with a youthful soul.
The guitar is fitted with gorgeously decorated tuning machines from Alessi and comes with a Hiscox – Pro II GCL hard case.
