Overview

Luigi Sabbattini, a dedicated classical guitar teacher from Ascoli Piceno, Italy, has also pursued the craft of lutherie with great passion for approximately 20 years.

This brand-new instrument features a spruce top complemented by Indian rosewood sides and back, and a cedar neck reinforced with ebony, which extends into an ebony fingerboard. The rosette and bridge frieze are thoughtfully designed with rosewood and mother of pearl, mirroring the distinctive theme also present on the headstock. This guitar incorporates lattice bracing for enhanced sound projection and includes an oval-shaped monitor hole on the upper bout to enrich the auditory experience for the player. Fitted with Nicolò Alessi tuning mechanics and finished with tru-oil, Luigi’s guitar not only demonstrates his commitment to quality and detail but also his flair for combining traditional craftsmanship with personal artistic touches.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
