Overview
Marco Bortolozzo has been building traditional classical guitars since 2010 and showed great skills from the beginning. This beautiful instrument is based on the template of the famous Antonio de Torres FE09 and is decorated in the same style. The FE09 is one of the most famous Antonio de Torres guitars since it was Miguel Llobet’s preferred.
This guitar numbered 72 is a particularly fantastic example of Marco’s very best instruments. It is exceptionally beautiful with a three-piece bird’s-eye maple back and the very best selection of woods for the rest of the instrument. By the way, this guitar is made without protected woods and is therefore CITES free. The tuners are made by Alessi and the guitar is delivered with a fitting Hiscox Pro II case.
One of the outstanding attributes of this guitar is its incredibly low air body resonance frequency which is down to D#. This gives a lovely depth to the basses and adds a very singular charm to its old-world sound. Moreover, this instrument is light and easy to play. The trebles are clear and singing, and it is overall a graceful and captivating guitar.
