Michael Cadiz stammt ursprünglich aus Seattle, Washington, und wohnt seit einiger Zeit in Graz, Österreich. Seine erste Gitarre baute er bereits im Alter von 15 Jahren. Michael ist höchst dankbar für die Zeit, die er bei Robert Ruck studieren durfte. Sie halten bis heute einen freundschaftlichen Kontakt. Außerdem konnte er auch von den in Seattle ansässigen Gitarrenbauern, Rick Davis und Greg Oxrieder viel lernen. Was für eine unglaubliche Gitarre! Dieses Instrument, das nach dem Vorbild der Gitarren von José Luis Romanillos gebaut wurde, ist dem Stil des großen Meisters erstaunlich treu geblieben. Diese Gitarre zeigt ein außergewöhnliches Know-how, sowohl in Bezug auf die Einlegearbeit als auch auf die akustischen Eigenschaften. Sie ist in jedem Detail perfekt. Die Schönheit des Holzes wird durch die Reinheit des Schellacks und der Eleganz der Rodgers Mechaniken unterstrichen. Es ist eine sehr leichte und spontane Gitarre mit einem brillanten, endlosen Klang, der eine fantastische Spielbarkeit bietet. Die Subtilität der Klangfarben und die Zeitlosigkeit des Klangs setzen diese Gitarre auf das höchste Niveau der zeitgenössischen Gitarrenbaukunst.
