Overview
Michael Wichmann has been building classical guitars over the last 40 years since the age of 25. He learned and tought in about 20 different guitar workshops all over Europe. A special highlight in his career was in the early 1980s, during that time he had a "Mobile Guitar Workshop" in Spain, France and Portugal. This Michael Wichmann guitar was built in 2015 and has a cedar/balsa wood double top and a balsa wood lattice-bracing that is reinforced with carbon layers. Back and sides are made of Indian Rosewood and the whole guitar has a French polish finish. The guitar sounds very powerful but has a traditional sound character. The basses are very expressive and the trebles sound bell-like and have a lot of richness.
