Michel Brück - 2015 Doubletop

Michel Brück - 2015 Doubletop

Overview

Michel Brück is one of the most known German guitar builders. He initially focused on building traditional guitars à la Antonio de Torres. Today, he still likes to build guitars in a traditional style and is a real master of recreating historically important instruments e.g. by Enrique Garcia or Santos Hernandez.
After the turn of the millennium he became increasingly interested in the double top construction and started building his first guitars in this style. Today, Michel Brück’s double top guitars are among the most popular worldwide and the waiting time after ordering a guitar can be up to eight years.
This superb guitar built in 2015 is in excellent condition. It is a very light guitar with a spruce doubletop and a traditional five-fan bracing. The CITES-certified Brazilian rosewood comes from a very old stock and is absolutely wonderful. Its colour is very dark with a regular grain. The sound of this guitar is unique. It is very consistent with a rich and mature timbre. The immense volume of this guitar and its perfect playability opens a new world for the guitarist. The refined and elaborated craftmanship as well its great rarity make it a collector must have.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
