Paco Santiago Marin - 2019 50th Aniversario 64cm

Overview

Paco Santiago Marín was born in Granada in 1946. His father, Francisco Santiago Oliva, was a cabinet maker of vocation and taught his son Paco Santiago the delicate art of wood crafting. In 1963 Paco Santiago joined his uncle's workshop, Antonio Marín Montero, to complete his transition from a cabinet maker to a full-fledged luthier. In 1972 he decided to start his workshop.
Paco Santiago's guitars are highly sought after for their strong projection, balance, and tone color. The list of professional guitarists who play his instruments is as long as one can imagine, for example, Ricardo Gallen, Leo Brouwer, Manuel Gonzalez & Iliana Matos, to name a few. The Aniversario models are the most prestigious and sought-after models from this immensely accomplished guitar maker. Only the best and finest materials are used for these works of art. An abundance of tonal strength and projection characterizes these guitars. The quality of tone and the variety of design possibilities these guitars offer are almost unparalleled.

This 2019 Paco Santiago Marin 50th Anniversary Classical Guitar is a tour de force in the realm of guitar manufacturing and has been meticulously handcrafted by the master luthier Paco Santiago Marin. Representing an impressive fifty years of peerless guitar craftsmanship, this model embodies a superior blend of artistry and acoustics. A true masterpiece in the world of classical guitars, the Paco Santiago Marin 50th Anniversary guitar offers a mesmerizing auditory experience. Its resonant treble strings sing with crystal clarity, while the deep, authoritative bass tones create a layered and complex sound profile. The guitar's ability to deliver such a broad spectrum of tonal expressions allows you to tailor your sound according to your artistic needs. This guitar from 2019 showcases only minor play marks that reflect its musical journey and a professionally repaired superficial crack next to the fingerboard. The Paco Santiago Marin 50th Anniversary Classical Guitar is more than just a musical instrument; it's an expression of passion, a testament to a luthier's skill, and a symbol of sonic perfection. • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
