Overview

Paco Santiago Marín was born in Granada in 1946. His father, Francisco Santiago Oliva, was a cabinet maker of vocation and taught his son Paco Santiago the delicate art of wood crafting. In 1963 Paco Santiago joined his uncle’s workshop, Antonio Marín Montero, to complete his transition from a cabinet maker to a full-fledged luthier. In 1972 he decided to start his workshop. Paco Santiago’s guitars are highly sought after for their strong projection, balance, and tone color. The list of professional guitarists who play his instruments is as long as one can imagine, for example, Ricardo Gallen, Leo Brouwer, Manuel Gonzalez & Iliana Matos, to name a few. The Aniversario models are the most prestigious and sought-after models from this immensely accomplished guitar maker. Only the best and finest materials are used for these works of art. An abundance of tonal strength and projection characterizes these guitars. The quality of tone and the variety of design possibilities these guitars offer are almost unparalleled.

The 2020 Paco Santiago Marin 30th Anniversary Classical Guitar stands as a monumental achievement in guitar craftsmanship. This guitar is a harmonious amalgamation of artistic finesse and superior acoustic engineering, making it a veritable masterpiece in the classical guitar domain. This versatility in sound production empowers musicians to adapt and refine their tonal output to suit diverse artistic expressions, making it a highly sought-after instrument among discerning players.

Despite being a pre-loved from 2020 with minimal signs of play, the guitar retains its exquisite visual allure and its ability to produce a vibrant, resonant sound remains intact. • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
