Overview
Pansaeng Chantarangkul is a Thailand based guitar maker. He learned the art of guitar making from Yuichi Imai in Tokyo, Japan, before attending to one of the famous Jose Luis Romanillos’ Spanish guitar making course. Recently in contact with Henner Hagenlocher, Granada, Pansaeng Chantarangkul is building classical guitars in the Spanish tradition.
This 2015 concert model is in absolute mint condition. The book-matched spruce top is thinly worked and has a very good response. The Indian rosewood back and sides give to the guitar a great sustain and projection. A lot of marquetry details such as the bridge inlay, the rosette and the head-plate have been thoroughly thought-after and give modern and refined character to the instrument. It is overall a fine guitar with a great value for price. A hard-shell case is included.
