Overview
P. Bernabé Sr. was one of the greatest and best-known luthiers from Spain. He founded his first workshop in 1969. He experimented a lot and developed a new order of top bracing. From the 1980s onwards, he worked together with his son Paulino Jr.
This guitar was built in 2008 by Paulino Bernabé Jr. It has an incredible clearness in the sound, brilliant direct trebles and gorgeous overtones. Such a balanced instrument is a real pleasure to play. The timbre is rich and allows a great expressivity for the guitarist. All the vital needs of a concert guitar are fulfilled in this instrument: tone, sustain, volume, balance and dynamics.
