Overview
P. Bernabé Sr. was one of the greatest and most renowned luthiers from Spain. He founded his first workshop in 1969, where he worked along with his son from the 1980s onwards. This Goldmedaille model was built in 2015 and commemorate the first price won by Paulino Bernabé at the “Internationale Handwerksmesse München 1974”.
This guitar has a clear delicate tone, very balanced with a long sustain. Its volume is indeed very satisfying and this instrument projects strongly, easily filling a concert hall. The wide range of colours, the great dynamics possibilities and the generous sympathetic resonances make this guitar a truly expressive instrument.
