Overview

Petar Antic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where he grew up surrounded by nature, animals, and traditional crafts. As the son of a talented artist and craftsman, he was exposed to natural materials and attention to detail at an early age. At the age of 14, he was introduced to the guitar. Fascinated by a concert by Andres Segovia, he quickly realised that the guitar was his passion. Being left-handed, he had difficulties finding a suitable guitar at the time, which led him to learn the art of guitar making. Petar found his own way, his own vision and style of guitar making, combining the heritage of the great traditional masters with his own personal taste and aesthetics.

Petar Antic sadly passed away far too soon recently and this guitar No. 4 from 2009 was brought to us personally by his son. As it is a show model that has been in Petar's workshop since its completion in 2009, it is technically new and can be considered New Old Stock (NOS). The twin sister of this guitar is the No. 5 from 2010, which is the exact same model, but built for left-handers. It is a beautiful instrument with excellent playability and a wide range of tonal colours. This very beautiful guitar has a cedar top combined with Indian rosewood back and sides. Thanks to the great setup, this instrument is easy to play. Furthermore, the attention to detail is obvious, which can be seen in beautifully crafted and executed ornaments. With excellent volume and response, this guitar offers extensive possibilities for guitarists of all levels.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
