Roberto Pozzi - 2013
Overview
Overview
Roberto Pozzi was born in 1970 in Mariano Comense, Italy. Already very early he got interested in the construction of instruments and started his studies at the “Scuola Civica di Liuteria” in Milan. During his studies he concentrated on the construction of replicas of the guitars made by Antonio de Torres, Enrique Garcia and Pietro Gallinotti. Inspired by those different influences, he developed his own instruments. The presented concert guitar has a top which is made of Sitka spruce. Back and ribs consist of finest nutwood. The wood of the guitar is treated with a shellac polish. The guitar convinces with its clearness and brilliance as well as its balance and the easy playability.

Classical Guitar
The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.Look all products of the collection -
