Roberto Pozzi - 2021 Concert No. 1

Roberto Pozzi - 2021 Concert No. 1

Overview

About the luthier

Roberto Pozzi was born in 1970 in Mariano Comense, Italy. Already very early he got interested in the construction of instruments and started his studies at the “Scuola Civica di Liuteria” in Milan. During his studies he concentrated on the construction of replicas of the guitars made by Antonio de Torres, Enrique Garcia and Pietro Gallinotti. Inspired by those different influences, he developed his own instruments.

About the guitar

This beautiful guitar by Roberto Pozzi, built in 2021, is his concert model, crafted for the highest level of musical performance. The spruce soundboard features eight fan bracings, following a traditional construction that delivers tremendous volume and excellent projection.

The balance across all registers is exceptional, giving the guitar a versatile character that can handle any style of music, from Baroque to contemporary.

While this guitar is sold, these are ready for you

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
