Overview
Ross Gütmeier lives in Baltimore and began in 1993 to build classical guitars after discovering a book about lutherie while he was learning to play classical guitar. Around 2005 he get known internationally for his double-top guitars but he builds also traditional guitars in the style of Santos Hernandez. This guitar was built in 2011 and has a cedar double-top. It has a very strong sound and projection. The fretboard is modestly elevated to improve the playability of higher notes. Playbility is a dream! The condition is very good. The tuning machines are made by Rubner. A hardshell case is included.
