Overview

Solveig studied lutherie at the State School of Musical Instrument Making in Mittenwald/Germany and now lives and works in Niedenstein/Germany, where she and her husband Andreas run a joint guitar workshop where her fantastic guitars are made. She only builds four to five guitars a year, but with the highest devotion and precision, creating breathtakingly beautiful instruments. Solveig’s guitars are traditionally built, very light and impressively powerful. Typical for her instruments is the charming and elegant sound of the trebles, which, combined with perfect balance and long sustain, results in a fantastic singing guitar.

This admirable 2015 guitar is in almost perfect condition with only a few playing marks. The openness of the tone and responsiveness of the soundboard is just unbelievable. The trebles are enormous with an airy well rounded, and mature character. Exploring the tone colours and dynamic range of this guitar is an absolute pleasure, and this instrument faithfully gives back to the public everything the guitarist puts in.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
