Stefan Nitschke learned the art of guitar building under Gerhard Oldiges. Over the last 15 years, he has built various instruments focusing on aesthetics and tonal balance. The influence of the great masters of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Antonio de Torres, Francisco Simplicio, and Santos Hernandez, can be found in the subtlety of the sound of his guitars and the finesse of his skills.
This guitar is spectacular. Inspired by 1886 Antonio de Torres, this guitar has it all. The back and sides are crafted from CITES-certified rare Brazilian rosewood with exceptionally dark and beautiful grain. The attention to detail Stefan Nitschke has devoted to this instrument is impressive. The precision of the decorations and overall build quality are second to none. In addition, the gorgeous handmade tuners by Rodgers bring this instrument to the next level of elegance, making it an authentic piece of art. Soundwise it is a modern classic, with deep old-world basses and charming singing trebles with a hint of lushness.
