Overview
Taylor Guitars has been one of the leading guitar manufacturers in the premium segment for several years. The 814ce is the flagship of the famous Californian make. It is expressive and well balanced with round basses and taut trebles. It unfolds its full sound potential especially when strummed or flat-picked rhythmically, but it also likes to go along with softer playing versions. As common with all Taylor guitars, excellently easy playability characterizes this instrument. Thanks to the Taylor Expression Pickup System the guitar is also a reliable and powerful ally on stage. The combination of a dynamic body sensor under the top and another string sensor provide a beautifully natural rendition. The control buttons for volume, trebles and basses are easy to handle and discreetly applied to the side next to the neck. Generally, this Taylor 814ce is a real eyecatcher and in pristine condition. The top is made of fine spruce, back and sides are made of Indian Rosewood. There are beautiful mother of pearl inlays on the ebony fret board and the rosette. Little details like the pretty flamed maple binding complete the subtle elegance of this instrument. An original Taylor case is included.
