Thomas Dauge is a French luthier based in Bordeaux. He follows the French tradition of guitar making and proves great skills in the design and construction of the rosette and other marquetry elements. Thomas Dauge pays great attention to every detail of the instrument, such as the choice of wood, the quality of shellac polish, the clean execution of the joints, and, above all, the sound characteristics of his guitars. He succeeds in building very well-balanced instruments with complex timbre and excellent playability.
This beautiful brand-new 20th Anniversary model numbered 155 by Thomas Dauge is a unique instrument in all regards. It displays exceptional craftsmanship, particularly on the rosette, headstock, and tail block, and the French polish quality is outstanding. Actually, all ornamentations were designed tastefully and artistically. At the same time, this fine guitar is an absolute acoustic pleasure. It exhibits a captivating character through its warm and round trebles combined with deep and dark basses.
