Overview
Overview
The Voigts are one of the oldest musical instrument maker dynasties that exist in the world. Adam I. Voigt, is considered the founding father and was admitted in 1699 to the former violin makers guild in Neukirchen. For more than 300 years not only stringed and fretted instruments, but also bows, strings, wood and brass instruments were manufactured in the family. While the construction of bowed instruments dominated until about 1800, this changed from 1850 with the "in vouge instruments" guitar and zither. The son Marc-Julian Voigt represents in consecutive order the 10th Generation in the family dynasty as instrument maker. This classical guitar Torres style was built in 2004 and has a spruce top. Back and sides are made Brazilian Rosewood (with Cites). The guitar has some signs of usage. The machine heads are by Fustero.

Classical Guitars
The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.Look all products of the collection -
