Overview
Richard Jacob Weissgerber hat etwa 3500 Instrumente von einzigartiger Schönheit gebaut. Zu diesen Instrumenten gehört auch diese Gitarre von Richard Jacob aus dem Jahr 1919. Die Decke ist zweiteilig und aus gebeizter Fichte gefertigt. Umrahmt wird die Decke von weißen und schwarzen Einlagen die aus Galalith und vermutlich dunkel gebeiztem Birnenholz bestehen. Die Randeinlagen finden sich erneut in gleicher Anordnung um das Schallloch. Der Steg weißt stilistisch wie auch der Kopf auf das Art Deco hin. Der Boden ist einteilig und besteht wie auch die Zargen aus Ahorn. Eine Traumgitarre in sehr gutem Zustand.
