Description
Evan Kingma is a young guitar maker from province of Granada in Spain, where he moved to learn guitar making in 2015. He made his first guitar at The European Institute of Guitar Making under the guidance of the Master Luthiers Stephen Hill and Pablo Requena. He then continued to work closely with Stephen Hill as his apprentice. He is a very open-minded luthier with some pretty modern aesthetical tastes and a great respect for the tradition.
This guitar was built at the very end of 2017 and is new. The construction is very refined and shows some great craftsmanship skills. It is a very spontaneous guitar with a warm typical Grenadian tone. The volume and dynamic possibilities are very impressive. The quality of the tone stays very consistent in the whole volume range of the instrument, what allows the guitarist to express plainly his emotions. Moreover, it is great value for money.
