Stephen Eden

Stephen Eden is a respected English luthier who discovered his passion for guitar making after studying with master luthier Stephen Hill in 2004. He went on to apprentice for two years with Pablo Requena, gaining the solid technical foundation that defines his work today. Since opening his first workshop in 2008, Eden has built high-level classical guitars for renowned players such as Paul Gregory, Juan Martín, Sean Shibe, Ian Watt, Gaëlle Solal, Pavel Ralev, Bridget Mermikides, Mark Eden, and many others. His instruments are admired for their clarity, responsiveness, refined craftsmanship, and professional performance qualities.

Stephen Eden – Guitar Maker

Stephen received his first acoustic guitar at the age of 18, after having been passionate about music for many years. In 2004, he attended evening classes with Stephen Hill, which sparked his enthusiasm for guitar making. Soon after, he began a two-year apprenticeship in the workshop of Pablo Requena, where he gained a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that he continues to apply today. In 2008, Stephen opened his first workshop. Since then, he has enjoyed building guitars for many professional musicians, including Paul Gregory, Juan Martin, Peter Stuart, Sean Shibe, Ian Watt, Andrew Gough, Allan Neave, Gaëlle Solall, Pavel Ralev, Bridget Mermikides and Mark Eden.
