Overview
At HANIKA craftsmanship is understood as custom work and sound as art. A guitar from the famous Baiersdorf manufacture is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship tradition. Since 1953 it has been the basis for the success story of the company, combined with trend-setting innovations. Master plucked instrument maker Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993 and has been building classical guitars of outstanding quality ever since.
This Cutaway model is based on the '58 models. The specially for classical guitarists designed cutaway of African Ebony, makes playing in higher ranges very comfortable.Back and sides are manufactured of finest Cocobolo and the top is made of excellent spruce. Cocobolo is distinguished by a particularly dense wood structure and is considered one of the best tone woods for guitars. Along with the thin spruce top the Classic Cut CF achieves a very good response with full sound and good separation. This guitar satisfies highest demands, it is recommended for conscious players and can completely unfold especially in slow and carried pieces.
The guitar is made of high quality massive tone woods and has a high gloss finish with a domed top and 7 fan bracing. The golden machine heads with bushes and ebony pegs, the Cedro-neck reinforced with best hardwood, the quality ebony fingerboard and 3-ply Rosewood Maple Makassar headstock show the high quality of the ClassicCut CF. The entire guitar has a gloss finish with a UV-curing acrylic lacquer. There are two small repaired cracks on the back of the guitar, which occurred during the manufacture of the instrument and were repaired in the Hanika workshops. They are visually unobtrusive and since they are located at the back also do not affect the sound. Therefore, this instrument is offered with a special discount of 10%. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.

Classical Guitars
The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.Look all products of the collection -
