Daniel Füzesi - 2016

Daniel Füzesi - 2016

Overview

Daniel Füzesi is a Hungarian guitar maker who completed his four-year training as a luthier at the instrument-making school “Centrum voor Muziekinstrumentenbouw” in Puurs (Belgium) with the highly respected Belgian luthier Walter Verreydt. He was also taught the art of lute-making by Dirk De Hertog. In Puurs he participated in the “Leonardo Guitar Research Project” for which information was collected on the use of non-tropical woods in guitar making.

As part of this project, he had the opportunity to do an internship at Thomas Holt Andreasen’s workshop in Granada, Spain. Since then, Daniel has been an enormously valued member of the Siccas Guitars team, taking care of all guitars in need of minor repairs as major restorations with great skill, expertise, and attention to detail. In addition, of course, he also builds beautiful guitars.

This instrument is a guitar built in 2016 by Daniel Füzesi as part of the Leonardo project. It has a spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides. All ornamentations and decorations of this instrument were done to perfection. It displays Daniel's exceptional artistry as a guitar maker. This guitar characterizes by its openness and incredible balance. The treble sounds precise and easily variable in terms of timbre and dynamics. The overall balance of the guitar is extremely pleasant, and the sound quality of this instrument is undoubtedly among the highest-level guitars. Although built in 2016, this beautiful instrument is in brand-new condition.

Daniel Füzesi 2016 Classical Guitar review
LOVELY SOUNDING GUITAR by Daniel F... 🤭|The Weekly Guitar Meeting #33 Müller, Füzesi, Tacchi, Cadiz

While this guitar is sold, these are ready for you

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
