Duke Artist - Torres

Duke Artist - Torres

Overview

This guitar has been designed according to the Spanish tradition with the highest technical, material and sound requirements. It is incredibly light and strongly inspired by the instruments of the Spanish master Antonio de Torres. These guitars are handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in a small Chinese manufactory and then optimized in Germany. The matt varnish, as well as the numerous marquetry inlays, emphasize its fine character. Designed as a full-fledged concert guitar, it combines high sound quality and perfect playability.
One of the first striking details, when you pick up this guitar, is its superb playability. The sound production is immediate, and the neck is perfectly profiled. With a very low air resonance frequency, it has deep and generous basses. Singing trebles and a rich timbre add to the qualities of this already very colourful guitar. Note that this guitar is built entirely with unprotected woods and is, therefore, Cites free.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
