This instrument is the Super Concert guitar model by Jeroen Hilhorst. It was built in 2010 and has a fine spruce top, back and sides are made of African Blackwood. The guitar has a French-polisch finish. It has a clean bass depth, plenty of volume and a warm, full tone with quite refined clarity. Like all Jeroen Hilhorst guitars, the quality of materials, decorative details and polishing of this instrument are distinctive and of high quality. The guitar has an elevated fingerboard, which is good for the sound, makes it easier to play over the octave and minimizes the chance for scratching the soundboard. It has an armrest on the edge of the soundboard. This prevents damping the vibrations of the soundboard by the arm. The tuners are made by Gotoh. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
