Overview
Since 1991 Juan Manuel García Fernández builds guitars in Granada. He studied under the master guitar makers Miguel Carmona, Jesús López, Manuel López Bellido and Rafael Moreno. In 2003 he has his workshop in the centre of Granada. His instruments are very easy to play, have a sweet sound and are very balanced.
This brand-new guitar is as impressive in its appearance as it is in its sound. The stunning bear claw spruce top, which has been hand-polished with shellac, gives this guitar a beautiful antique-like flair. This feeling is also found in its tone, as the rich, very responsive trebles sound remarkably round and smooth, reminiscent of vintage instruments, conveying strong emotions. It is a truly inspiring guitar, whose playability is just as pleasant as its balanced and charismatic sound character.
