Overview
Since 1991 Juan Manuel García Fernández builds guitars in Granada. He studied under the master guitar makers Miguel Carmona, Jesús López, Manuel López Bellido and Rafael Moreno. In 2003 he has his workshop in the centre of Granada. His instruments are very easy to play, have a sweet sound and are very balanced.
When one plucks on the strings of this delicate instrument the vibration of the spruce creates a sublime sensation; one feels the reverence of history. Delicate and sweet comes to mind regarding the tone, a highly responsive and easy to play guitar in every remark. The build quality is excellent, showcasing its elaborate design and ornamentation, like the beautiful hand carved bridge. Aromatic smell of cypress arises from the sound hole when playing and lingers in the room.
