Overview
Michael Cadiz is a Seattle, Washington, native, who moved his workshop to Graz, Austria, in 2016. He built his first guitar at the age of 15. He feels profoundly grateful for Robert Ruck, who invited him to stay for a while in his workshop to share his philosophy and approach to guitar building and from whom he learned a lot. He also received a great support from the Seattle builders Rick Davis and Greg Oxrieder.
This guitar is the latest concert model built by Michael Cadiz and one must say that it’s a truly inspiring guitar. It has a great volume and projection, with a prodigiously immediate response and an endless sustain. The crystal-clear sound of the instrument goes well along with the rich overtones and sympathetic resonances, which make it a rich singing instrument. Finally, the perfect set up of the guitar and the elevated fingerboard offer an enjoyable playing comfort of the highest level.
