Pavlos Gypas - 1991
Overview
Overview
Pavlos Gypas is one of the best Greek luthiers and his guitars are played world-wide by well-known guitarist like Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens and Elena Papandreou. Made in a traditional style using the best materials and fan-braced fronts, his guitars have a refined sound with clarity, are quite loud and have good voice separation. This guitar is in very good condition and has no repairs and no cracks. The back has an area of dulled polish surface from body contact and the top has a few very minor marks. The tuning machines are by Landstorfer/Reischl.

Classical Guitar
The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.Look all products of the collection -
