Overview

Petar Antic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where he grew up surrounded by nature, animals, and traditional crafts. As the son of a talented artist and craftsman, he was exposed to natural materials and attention to detail at an early age. At the age of 14, he was introduced to the guitar. Fascinated by a concert by Andres Segovia, he quickly realised that the guitar was his passion. Being left-handed, he had difficulties finding a suitable guitar at the time, which led him to learn the art of guitar making. Petar found his own way, his own vision and style of guitar making, combining the heritage of the great traditional masters with his own personal taste and aesthetics.

The Z 2013 guitar, crafted by the esteemed late luthier Petar Antic, is an extraordinary showcase of his exceptional craftsmanship. Delivered personally by Antic's son, this guitar is not only an instrument but a cherished legacy of a revered artisan who left the world too early. Classified as New Old Stock (NOS), the guitar is preserved in impeccable condition, embodying the dedication to quality that Antic was known for. Its design features a beautifully resonant cedar top, paired seamlessly with the strikingly rich Madagascar rosewood for the back and sides. This combination of woods not only creates an alluring visual appeal but also imparts a wide range of tonal colors, making the guitar versatile and dynamic. Exceptional playability is one of its standout features, ensuring that guitarists of every skill level, from enthusiastic beginners to accomplished professionals, can enjoy a seamless and enriching playing experience.

The meticulous attention to detail in the Z 2013 guitar is a testament to Petar Antic's passion and skill in guitar making. From the intricately crafted ornaments that enhance its aesthetic charm to the precision in its setup for effortless playability, every element of this guitar speaks of Antic's commitment to his craft. More than just a musical instrument, the Z 2013 is a work of art that embodies a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality. It boasts an impressive volume and a responsive nature, making it highly adaptable for various musical styles and performance environments.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
