Petar Antic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where he grew up surrounded by nature, animals, and traditional crafts. As the son of a talented artist and craftsman, he was exposed to natural materials and attention to detail at an early age. At the age of 14, he was introduced to the guitar. Fascinated by a concert by Andres Segovia, he quickly realised that the guitar was his passion. Being left-handed, he had difficulties finding a suitable guitar at the time, which led him to learn the art of guitar making. Petar found his own way, his own vision and style of guitar making, combining the heritage of the great traditional masters with his own personal taste and aesthetics.
The Z 2013 guitar, crafted by the esteemed late luthier Petar Antic, is an extraordinary showcase of his exceptional craftsmanship. Delivered personally by Antic's son, this guitar is not only an instrument but a cherished legacy of a revered artisan who left the world too early.
