Vicente Carrillo and Yamandu Costa have combined their expertise to craft a one-of-a-kind 7-string guitar line. Renowned for his innovative music and mastery over the 7-string guitar, Yamandu sought an instrument allowing for new auditory explorations and techniques. Vicente, boasting over four decades of luthier experience and a distinct aptitude for 7-string guitar crafting, eagerly partnered with him on this venture. The outcome? A 7-string guitar series boasting robust and unique sounds, harmonizing seamlessly with Yamandu’s musical style.
The guitar is made with a cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides, which produce a defined and powerful tone with moderate attack. The neck is very comfortable, and the instrument is well balanced despite the bigger neck and heavier headstock to accommodate the 7th string. With its stunning aesthetics and robust build, this guitar epitomizes the fusion of talents between two gifted artists, striving together to conceive something genuinely remarkable.
