Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
Inspired by the iconic designs of Francisco Simplico, this new model from Jellinghaus is a captivating blend of traditional artistry and contemporary craftsmanship. Paying homage to the legendary guitar maker, this instrument incorporates key elements of Simplico's style, resulting in a guitar that resonates with the old Spanish characteristics beloved by many.
