Yunah Park - 2025

Overview

About the luthier

Yunah Park is a guitar maker known for her exceptional craftsmanship and innovative designs. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Yunah began studying the guitar at 16 and quickly realized her passion for the instrument. She went on to earn a degree from a university in Korea before moving to Spain to complete her studies at the “Oscar Esplá” Higher Conservatory of Music in Alicante. While living in Madrid, Yunah learned the trade of guitar making from her teacher Ángel Benito Aguado in the traditional manner, studying the great Spanish guitar makers of the early 20th century and learning to repair instruments and design plans and templates for new systems. After a few years of apprenticeship, she began building her own guitars, focusing on a wide sound presence that meets the needs of concert players while maintaining the color of classical Spanish guitars. Yunah’s instruments are made with the best woods, personally selected for their aesthetic and sound qualities, and she handcrafts every detail. Today, Yunah’s guitars are highly sought after by musicians and collectors alike, and her reputation as a master guitar maker continues to grow. She remains committed to combining traditional techniques with innovative designs to create instruments that sound exceptional and offer greater sound performance on the big stage.

Yunah Park – 2025 Classical Guitar Review

While this one is sold, these are ready for you

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
